The performance indicators of the semi-mounted four-row potato planter SK-4 correspond to the best world analogues, which is the basis for its further promotion to the markets of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries.
The developed potato planter corresponds to class 5 of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union and, as a result, has a minimally permissible negative impact on the environment.
The semi-mounted four-row potato planter is designed for row planting of unsprouted calibrated potato tubers without mechanical and straw impurities with row spacing of 70, 75, 90 cm with simultaneous treatment of tubers and application of mineral fertilizers on soils of all types in all potato cultivation zones.
The potato planter is aggregated with tractors of class 1.4 and 2. The drive of the planting devices is from the support and drive wheels. The planter is loaded from any self-unloading vehicles.
The following Business Model can be implemented - Conclusion of license agreements for the production of SK-4 potato planters. Scientific and technical support, as well as the possibility of further improvement of the design.

Advantages and Innovations
The potato planter has two pairs of support wheels, which improved lateral stability when working on slopes, and a drive for the planting and fertilizer sowing units from the front wheels, which simplified the mechanism for disabling the units by lifting the tractor hitch.
Each planter is equipped with hydromarkers.
It is designed for any seeds - small, large and cut: thanks to the use of various spoons and spoon inserts, it is possible to plant all existing varieties of potatoes.

The Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Agricultural Mechanization" (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is the leading and largest organization in the Republic for the development, testing and production of agricultural machinery.
Scope:
- creation of competitive models of equipment, mechanisms and materials, advanced technologies, other types of high-tech products based on the development of fundamental and applied scientific research conducted by the Center and subsidiary unitary enterprises;
- organization of cooperation with scientific, educational, design, technological, industrial, agricultural and other organizations in order to integrate the scientific potential of scientific organizations of the Academy of Sciences and institutions providing higher education, for the joint solution of the most important scientific, technical and humanitarian problems, increasing the efficiency of using the results of scientific research in the industrial and social spheres of the Republic;
- conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in assigned scientific areas;
identification of fundamentally new paths of scientific and technological progress, implementation of applied scientific research in priority areas of scientific and technical activity, development of means of mechanization of agricultural production and agricultural energy new generation;
- development of recommendations on the practical use of the Center's research results, their support during their development in production;

- 13 types of machinery and equipment for the mechanization and automation of processes in forage production and livestock farming;
- 9 types of machinery and equipment for cultivation, harvesting, storage and pre-sale preparation potatoes and vegetables;
- 3 types of machines and equipment for mechanization of work in industrial gardens.
The manufactured machines fully comply with international standards and have certificates of conformity of the Customs Union and the European Union. Considering the use of components of Belarusian and Russian manufacture, the cost price of the machines manufactured by the Center is 30-40% lower than imported analogues.
