Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus together with the JV «LOTIS TII» offers consumers retinal stimulators «SRL-1» and «SRS-1» for the treatment of ophthalmic diseases under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus together with the JV «LOTIS TII» manufactures tricolor retinal stimulators designed to treat ophthalmic diseases and relieve eye fatigue by exposing the retina to combined radiation of three wavelengths located at the maxima of spectral sensitivity of the eye.

The retinal stimulator is available in two modifications:
* laser «SRL-1»;
* LED «SRS-1».

Clinical effects achieved with the use of a retinal stimulator:
* increased visual acuity;
* Increased accommodation stocks;
* increase in the speed and volume of blood flow in the vessels of the eye;
* an increase in the amplitude of visual potentials on the electroretinogram.

Indications for the use of a retinal stimulator:
* myopia;
* glaucoma;
* amblyopia;
* astigmatism;
* chorioretinal dystrophy;
* macular degeneration (dry form);
* visual fatigue syndrome;
* partial atrophy of the optic nerve;
* post-traumatic retinal detachment.

Advantages and Innovations
Retinal stimulators «SRL-1» and «SRS-1» are more effective compared to traditionally used devices based on helium-neon lasers (manufactured by JSC «MAKDEL-Technologies» (Russian Federation), etc.). When using a tricolor retinal stimulator, an increase in visual acuity is achieved in 75% of cases, whereas when exposed to radiation from a helium-neon laser, this figure is 47%.
