Physical-Technical Institute offers consumers the manufacture and supply of a technological complex for processing aluminum waste on the basis of a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
A technological process has been developed and equipment has been created that allows continuous drying of chip aluminum waste with a capacity of more than 500 thousand tons/year, their separation fr om magnetic and weakly magnetic inclusions (Ni-resist Fe-13Ni-7Cu alloy).

A section for processing aluminum waste has been created wh ere the entire volume of waste generated at the JSC "Minsk Motor Plant" is processed.
Advantages and Innovations
The advantages of the developed technology:
- yield of suitable metal up to 92–95%;
- exclusion of ignition of chips during remelting;
- mechanical dispersion of shavings when obtaining products using aluminum powder;
- additional extraction of up to 50-60% aluminum.
