Description
Experimental and Production Enterprise "Ferrit" manufactures magnetic separators of the SMP-P1 series with permanent magnets, designed to: remove ferromagnetic metal particles fr om the flow of bulk materials (grain, flour, tea, herbs, tobacco, food products, building and other bulk materials ) transported along a vertical or inclined product pipeline; reduction of sparking at enterprises for the storage and processing of grain and other industries; protection of technological equipment from damage by random metal objects.

Magnetic separators of the SMP-P1 series are installed in vertical gravity pipelines of rectangular or round cross-section, inclined sections of such pipelines, as well as on the receiving socks of elevators and open trays, wh ere it is possible for the stream of the separated product to flow freely over the magnetic block of the separator.

The greatest effect of magnetic separation is achieved when the magnetic block of the SMP-P1 type separator is located at an angle of 45 degrees to the vertical.

SMP-P1-1 is a separate element of the separator - a hinged cover with a magnetic block and a cleaning system with a mounting flange for fastening or welding. Mounted on the bottom or top of inclined and horizontal gravity or open trays.

SMP-P1-2 is a magnetic separator in a housing, built into a vertical or inclined gravity flow.

Principle of operation:
The magnetic separator of the SMP-P1 series consists of a housing and a magnetic system located inside the housing. The magnetic block has a directed magnetic field that covers the flow area of ​​the pipeline in which the product moves. The bulk product, passing through the pipeline, flows over the magnetic block of the separator. In the zone of the magnetic block, due to the different magnetic susceptibility of the bulk product and metal-magnetic impurities, under the influence of magnetic forces, metal-magnetic impurities are released from the non-magnetic flow of the product, are attracted to the magnetic block and are held on it, and the purified product passes further along the pipeline. When lifting the hinged lid with the magnetic block upwards, the non-magnetic plate moves away from the magnetic block, and the metal impurities adhering to it fall under the action of their own weight into the tray (metal collector) prepared for this.

Technical parameters can be changed at the request of the customer in accordance with the specific conditions for installing the separator in an existing production line.

- at enterprises for the storage and processing of grain and grain products as technical means of explosion safety;
- at food industry enterprises when sorting and packaging bulk food products;
- in the manufacture of plastic products at the stage of preparation of raw materials;
- for cleaning building materials, wood shavings and other loose materials.
