Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers pulse-pumped femtosecond laser system under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures pulse-pumped femtosecond laser systems, which implement an innovative method of using Kerr nonlinearity to synchronize modes in pulsed synchronously pumped solid-state lasers, allowing to obtain femtosecond pulses that are not inferior in duration to those generated under continuous pumping conditions. The system has the ability to quickly adjust the fundamental frequency in the spectral range 770..830 nm.

Most of the output parameters of a femtosecond laser system can be adjusted using a PC, setting the laser to work in a specific application in a matter of seconds. The adjustable output parameters make it possible to use the femtosecond system in areas where lasers of different classes are usually required.

The laser system uses a compact femtosecond pulse stretcher-compressor circuit with one common diffraction grating instead of two, which allows:
* save space;
* save financial resources, as one set of diffraction grating and optomechanical attachment to it is needed instead of two;
* automatically solve the problem of matching the grids of the stretcher and compressor.

The femtosecond laser system is characterized by:
* high stability of radiation parameters;
* high pulse repetition rate;
* reduced requirements for the quality of optical elements and conditions of use due to the pulse mode of operation;
* low cost due to the use of a single power supply for simultaneous pumping of the amplifier and generator;
* ease of maintenance.

Optical scheme of a femtosecond laser system:
scheme
I – nanosecond pump laser of the amplifier; II – picosecond pump laser of the femtosecond generator; III – stretcher compressor scheme; IV – single pulse extraction circuit; V – multi-pass amplifier.

Specifications:
Pulse repetition rate, Hz up to 50
Pulse duration, fs ~ 100
Pulse energy, mJ ~ 1
Frequency tuning range, nm 770..830

Application areas:
* in numerous technical applications, in particular in precision materials processing;
* in scientific research in the field of ultra-high-speed kinetic spectroscopy and nonlinear optics, biology, ecology, medicine;
* as optical simulators of the effects of heavy charged particles when testing the radiation resistance of integrated circuits and electronic modules, etc.

B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics offers partners:
* pulse-pumped femtosecond laser systems under a manufacturing agreement;
* pulse-pumped femtosecond laser systems under a distribution services agreement.
