The milk raw materials of the Red Belarusian Dairy Cattle breed of cows meet the requirements of processors for the supplied milk raw materials for the production of premium dairy products, which will provide the domestic market of the Republic of Belarus and increase export potential.

Employees of the RUE "SPC of Belarus for Animal Husbandry" develop and improve selection and genetic methods for breeding and preserving red dairy cattle in purebred breeding and crossbreeding within the framework of the subprogram "Agro-industrial complex - innovative development" of the state scientific and technical program "Innovative agro-industrial and food technologies", 2021-2025.

Cows of this breed produce milk raw materials with a protein content of more than 3.5%, a large diameter and weight of casein micelles and a calcium content of 123–135 mg. The high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids in the milk fat of cows of this breed will allow the production of more biologically valuable, soft and flexible butter.

The existing technology for producing milk from cows of this breed in agricultural enterprises is environmentally safe.
