Description
A complex of diagnostic tools KSD-160u has been developed, including a video head mounted on a telescopic rod with a total length of 6 m, and a control unit with a monitor. The video head is equipped with a micro camera and LED backlighting. The image is displayed on the monitor screen and also saved on digital media. The equipment allows for timely detection of faulty elements of hard-to-reach, including underwater, hydraulic structures and reasonably perform the necessary volumes of their repair, decommission emergency facilities.

The diagnostic and search equipment KSD-160U is designed to detect defects in elements of hydraulic structures (HS) when assessing the condition of hard-to-reach and underwater parts of the HS and allows for inspection of underwater parts of the HS using a video camera at a depth of up to 4 meters.

Overall dimensions of the video camera body for inspecting underwater elements of the GTS:
* length no more than - 120 mm
* width no more than - 90 mm
* height no more than - 60 mm
* viewing angle of the video camera no less than - 75 degrees
* backlight power no less than - 100 cd
* equipment supply voltage - 12 V
* total length of the rod for inspecting underwater elements no less than - 5 m.

Advantages and Innovations
Allows to inspect hard-to-reach underwater parts of the GTS on the drainage network without involving divers and dismantling equipment.

Allows to include in the technology of diagnostics of hard-to-reach elements the processing and evaluation of defects based on their video images by computer means at the office stage, as well as the possibility of repeated diagnostics of objects by third-party specialists.
The use of diagnostic and search equipment KSD-160U allows to reduce the costs of operational control and melioration surveys; to improve the quality of design solutions due to more accurate determination of the nature and extent of damage to underwater and hard-to-reach parts of the GTS; to reduce the likelihood of accidents.
