Description
The technology for purification pyrolysis gases and obtaining motor fuel in a thermochemical catalytic reactor with axial-radial flow consists in creating an annular layer of particles placed coaxially in a cylindrical body. The layer is limited by porous side walls and flow-impermeable end surfaces. The inner cavity and the gap between the outer wall of the layer are channels for supplying to the layer and removing the gas mixture fr om it. Inside the channels there are fairings in the form of bodies of revolution with curvilinear generatrices. The special shape of the fairings and ends of the bed make it possible to distribute the gas mixture evenly over the volume of the catalytic bed and ensure continuous flow around the catalyst grains.
The gas mixture formed in the gas generator from biomass (wood waste) enters the thermochemical reactor and is filtered in the axial-radial direction through a layer wh ere CO2 contained in the gas mixture is sorbed, and the content of resins decreases as a result of catalytic reactions.

Advantages and Innovations
A thermochemical catalytic reactor with an axial-radial flow motion makes it possible to reduce energy costs for gas pumping by 10 times compared to axial counterparts, increase the durability of the catalyst and improve the quality of the final product of motor fuel.
