Summary
The Institute of Microbiology offers consumers feed additive "Rumibakt" under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
Probiotic feed additive "Rumibact" based on propionic acid bacteria is intended for the treatment and prevention of acidosis, normalization of cicatricial digestion in ruminants. It is characterized by a low consumption rate due to a higher content of viable cells of propionic acid bacteria.

The basis of the drug.
Freeze-dried cells of propionic acid bacteria; titer - not less than 2.0×1010 CFU/g

Efficiency, the principle of operation
The supplement contains specially selected cultures of propionic acid bacteria, which are natural components of the rumen contents in ruminants, utilize lactic acid while producing propionic and acetic acids, which allows optimizing the pH of the rumen contents and reducing the risk of acidosis, as well as increasing the digestibility of crude fiber, increase the daily productivity of animals.

The effectiveness of the feed additive, environmental characteristics, recommendations for use, and other information can be found on the institute's website (in Russian).
Advantages and Innovations
The use of a feed additive in the diets of highly productive dairy cows contributes to an increase in milk yield by 2.5-4.9% with an increase in milk fat content by 0.12-0.21 percentage points, an increase in the profitability of milk production by an average of 10%.
