Summary
SSPA of Powder Metallurgy offers consumers the production and supply of a wide range of standard sizes of friction discs made of composite multi-component powder materials with mineral additives, manufactured using the developed resource-saving technology under a manufacturing agreement, and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
The developed friction material and its production technology allow the production of friction discs for various friction units of modern agricultural, road construction and mining equipment, transport vehicles for various purposes for manufacturers of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, etc.

Developer and manufacturer - State Scientific Institution "O.V. Roman Institute of Powder Metallurgy".

The developed friction material is intended for the manufacture of friction discs. The tribotechnical characteristics of the friction material allow it to be used in friction units for operation in brake and clutch modes.

High and stable friction coefficient combined with low wear allow the friction material to be used in heavily loaded brake, transmission and safety units of energy-intensive equipment.

The nomenclature of friction discs can be found on the website of the "O.V. Roman Institute of Powder Metallurgy here.

Information is posted in the Album of promising developments of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for the real sector of the economy (2023) (in Russian), стр. 130-131.
Advantages and Innovations
Industrial operation experience has shown that domestic friction discs manufactured using this technology are not inferior in properties to foreign analogues.

The efficiency of products with this friction material is confirmed by the growth in demand both from regular customers and from service and repair enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, and Kazakhstan for replacing discs in friction units of various equipment from global manufacturers.

In the process of developing the friction material, such dangerous and toxic additives as asbestos and lead were excluded from the composition. At the same time, the new material provides higher tribotechnical and operational characteristics.

Technological equipment has been developed and manufactured that meets all modern safety requirements and ensures the repeatability of all technological parameters for the production of friction discs. The new equipment has significantly increased the productivity and energy efficiency of friction disc manufacturing.
