Summary
The Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering offers services for the study of microstructure, mechanical and tribotechnical properties of substances and materials. The institute is looking for partners interested in conducting research under a manufacturing agreement, outsourcing agreement, or subcontract.
Description
The Shared Use Center "Center for Structural Research and Tribomechanical Testing of Materials and Engineering Products" has the following testing equipment:
• Universal hydraulic testing machine INSTRON Satec 300LX
The machine is designed to test materials in tension, compression, bending and peeling at room and high temperatures.
• X-ray diffractometer D8 ADVANCE
Designed for X-ray structural studies of the structural-phase state of materials.
• Microhardness tester DuraScan 20 Struers (Austria)
Designed for measuring hardness and microhardness according to Vickers.
• Atomic force microscope NT-206
Designed for measuring and analyzing the surface of micro- and submicrorelief, objects of the micro- and nanometer range with high resolution, carrying out nanolithography procedures.
• Friction machine for testing in aggressive environments MTAS
• Test container with samples and sample holder
• System for registration of the friction path of the MTAS machine
• Vacuum furnace VS-16-22-3
Designed for vacuum heat treatment.
• Automated tribometer ATVP, equipped with a system of digital registration and data processing
Designed to measure the tribotechnical characteristics of materials under conditions of reciprocating movement. Estimation of the values of static and dynamic coefficients of friction.
