Summary
The Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry offers consumers and distributors a two-component epoxy primer based on aqueous epoxy resin for corrosion protection of metal and concrete surfaces under a manufacturing agreement and a distribution service agreement and is ready to transfer production technology under a licensing agreement.
Description
The primer is a two-component composition. Part A consists of a pigmented emulsion of polyamine hardener and Part B consists of a single dispersion of epoxy oligomer. After application, forms an opaque semi-glossy film with good adhesion to the painted surface and coating layers - http://www.igic.bas-net.by/tech.php?id=179&lang=ru
The primer can be used to protect metal structures under coatings with various enamels: pentaphthalic, glyphthalic, oil and others fr om corrosion in aggressive saline environments; painting surfaces made of concrete (concrete curbs, underground rooms) or cement substrates, wh ere the use of solvents is not recommended, priming concrete floors before applying epoxy self-leveling floors.

Advantages and Innovations
Primer coatings formed on the metal are resistant to the attack of a 3% sodium chloride solution (at least 150 hours), machine oil (at least 40 days), water (at least 30 days). The primer is odorless and free of solvents, therefore it is recommended to use it in underground tanks, in closed or poorly ventilated rooms. After drying, the primer film does not have a harmful effect on the human body.
