Summary
The Scientific and Practical Centre for Bioresources offers consumers services for the development of a complex of fish breeding and reclamation measures to restore spawning grounds to increase the efficiency of natural reproduction of commercially valuable fish species (carp, pike, bream, ide, etc.) in the reservoirs of the Pripyat River basin on the basis of an agreement about outsourcing and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
The current state of the ichthyofauna of the Pripyat Polissya was assessed. An analysis of the current state of fisheries has been carried out. The spawning grounds of the main commercial fish species have been identified and mapped. Factors that have a negative impact on the natural reproduction of valuable commercial fish species have been identified. The changes in the temperature and level regime of watercourses that have taken place have been analyzed. The main reasons for the decline in the number of valuable commercial fish species in the Pripyat River basin have been identified. Problematic spawning grounds have been identified and mapped. Recommendations for their rehabilitation have been developed.
Advantages and Innovations
The development contributes to the development of fishing and ecological tourism, attracting foreign capital to the country. Allows to further increase the catch of fish by 85..90 centners, and by amateur fishermen by about 650..700 centners per year.
