The Central Botanical Garden offers consumers new varieties of ornamental and medicinal products under a manufacturing agreement and is also looking for partners interested in concluding a distribution agreement.
Description
Based on a comprehensive assessment of morphological and biological characteristics, bioproductive ability, adaptability in cultivation, decorativeness, using molecular genetic markers, 6 varieties of selection of the Central Botanical Garden were obtained: clary sage Surprise, paniculata blizzard, European traffic light swimsuit, common heather Snowball, common heather Peresvet and bearberry Ushko.

The results obtained on new varieties of ornamental plants and recommendations for their use for landscaping settlements will be introduced in the system of public utilities, at environmental facilities, as well as at large industrial enterprises to improve working conditions and rest of working personnel.

Reducing the dependence of the work of industrial floriculture and green building enterprises on imports; expansion of the domestic market with ornamental gardening products.

Research and practical work in the field of plant introduction ensured the creation of a gene pool of decorative and economically useful introduced plants of more than 15 thousand names, which is the national heritage of the Republic of Belarus.
