Description
Portable hardness testers TPC-7 are designed for non-destructive hardness testing of carbon steel products using Brinell, Rockwell or Vickers scales. Hardness testers are able to evaluate hardness of other metals as well: steel alloys, cast irons, nonferrous metals and its alloys.
Description
The operational principle of TPC hardness testers is based on a correlation between impact impulse data and tensile-plastic properties of a tested material. Indenter impacts on a surface of a tested material, when the measurement is carried out. Special transducer, that is a built-in part of a hardness tester, records indenter data movement, generating measurement signal. Computing unit then calculates a hardness value of a tested material using aquaired measurement signal.
Measuring range:
90-450 HB
20-70 HRC
100-950 HV
Accuracy:
±10 HB in 90-150 HB range
±15 HB in 151-450 HB range
±1,5 HRC in 20-70 HRC range
±15 HV in 100-950 HV range
The device is included in the State Register of Measuring Instruments of the Republic of Belarus.

Advantages and Innovations
TPC-7 has small dimensions and mass.
Hardness tester may be used to inspect products without massive base lapping starting from 1,5 kg product mass.
Automaticly caltulates and displays a measurement arithmetic mean on the screen.
Converts to all common scales (HB, HRC, HV, HRB, HS, Rm).
Technology Differentiation and Uniqueness
Measuring in optional orientaton with an automatic measurement correction.
Hardness evaluation of products with 5,5 mm thickness and more.
Low impact energy (<10 mJ), that allows to use this hardness tester for the joint face inspection.
TPC-7 has small dimensions and mass, and also allows to carry out measurements in optional orientation with an automatic measurement correction.
