Summary
The Institute of Radiobiology offers services for the development of recommendations for the cultivation of winter rapeseed on the territory of radioactive contamination, the Institute is looking for consumers within the framework of outsourcing agreements and partners to conclude an agreement on distribution services.
Description
Large areas of winter rapeseed crops in the territory of the Republic of Belarus affected by the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the lack of data on the parameters of 137Cs and 90Sr accumulation in the production of winter rapeseed cultivated on soils of different genesis and particle size distribution, the effect of agrochemical soil parameters on the levels of radionuclide accumulation research.

The recommendations contain information on the parameters of the transition of radionuclides into the products of winter rapeseed (green mass, grain, straw) when cultivated on soils of different genesis and granulometric composition.

As a result of research carried out at the institute:
* Changes in the 137Cs transition coefficients are shown for different soil supply with exchangeable forms of potassium and 90Sr with a change in exchangeable acidity.
* Limiting densities of soil contamination with radionuclides have been established to ensure the production of normatively pure winter rapeseed products in accordance with the republican permissible levels and the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union.
* The features of the technology of cultivation of winter rapeseed on the territory of radioactive contamination, which ensure high yields with a minimum content of radionuclides, are presented.

The research results made it possible to establish the patterns of changes in the levels of 137Cs and 90Sr accumulation in green mass, grain, and straw of winter rape during its cultivation on sod-podzolic (sandy, sandy loam, loamy) and peat soils. As a result of the research, the understanding of the influence of agrochemical indicators on the parameters of the accumulation of radionuclides in crop production has been expanded.
Advantages and Innovations
New data have been obtained on the parameters of 137Cs and 90Sr conversion into the production of winter rapeseed cultivated on soils of different genesis and particle size distribution; the limiting densities of soil contamination with radionuclides for the production of normatively pure crop products have been determined.
