Summary
Research and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Arable Farming is offering buyers seeds of the hybrid winter diploid rye variety Belgi (F1) under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to transfer the variety under a licensing agreement.
Description
The hybrid variety of winter diploid rye Belgi (F1) has a high yield due to the use of the effect of heterosis in the first generation.

Key Features:
* plant height - 1.20..1.25 m with high lodging resistance (8..9 points) and winter hardiness (85..95 %);
* weight of 1000 grains - 35.7..37.9 g;
* nature of grain - 640..695 g/l;
* "falling number" - 245..270 s.

The hybrid variety can be cultivated for bakery and feed purposes and a mono feed for animals in a green conveyor. Recommended to be cultivated under industry regulations.
Advantages and Innovations
The yield surplus over the LoBel 103 standard for three years was 3.5 c/ha. The maximum yield in the KSI plant propagation is 118 c/ha, which is at the level and exceeds the maximum yield of hybrid varieties of the German selection of Picasso, KVS Bono, KVS Ravo.

The development is competitive, import-substituting, and will allow replacing expensive seeds of Western European hybrid varieties of rye since the cost of seeds of a new Belarusian hybrid variety is 1.5 ... 2 times lower.
