Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers fully solid-state optical parametric oscillators based on Nd3+:YAG lasers, emitting eye-safe pulsed radiation at wavelengths of 1571 nm or 1535 nm under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures fully solid-state optical parametric oscillators (OPO) on crystals KTIOPO4 (КТР) or KTIOASO4 (КТА), intended for nonlinear optical conversion of pulsed radiation from Nd3+-pumped laser into eye-safe pulsed radiation at the wavelength of 1571 nm (KTP) or 1535 nm (KTA).

Dependence of the OPO pulse energy on the pump pulse energy at a frequency of 25 Hz:
imgen

Specifications:
Nd3+-pumping laser wavelength, µm ~ 1
Eye-safe radiation wavelength, nm 1571 (КТР-OPO) or 1535 (КТА-OPO)
Average pulse energy OPO, mJ 20..100
Pulse repetition rate, Hz до 30
Pulse duration, ns 10..20
Beam divergence, mrad ~ 5
Stability of OPO long-term

Application areas:
* environmental protection (lidar atmospheric sensing);
* detection and remote recognition;
* illumination and target designation systems;
* laser ranging;
* spectroscopy;
* medicine.

Advantages and Innovations
OPO based on Nd3+:YAG lasers have a number of advantages compared to analogues:
* the possibility of implementing the OPO operation in the traveling wave mode through the use of a ring resonator, which makes it possible to eliminate the pump radiation feedback between the Nd3+ laser and the OPO without the use of additional measures;
* the possibility of using a circuit solution in the case of a linear OPO resonator (standing wave mode), which allows eliminating feedback on pump radiation without the use of expensive Faraday isolators;
* completely solid-state approach.
