Summary
Experimental and production enterprise "Ferrit" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers laboratory magnetic separators of SMB-ST2-2 series under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude under a distribution services agreement.
Description
Experimental and production enterprise "Ferrit" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures laboratory magnetic separators of SMB-ST2-2 series, designed for dry extraction (separation) of medium and weakly magnetic minerals from the material of crushed geological samples.

Principle of operation:
The basis of the operation of the magnetic separator is the principle of separating the separated product by magnetic properties using an internal magnetic drum. This drum is mounted motionless on the frame. The outer drum of larger diameter - the shell, made of stainless steel, is driven by a gear motor. The separated material is fed through the feed mouth directly to the rotating shell of the drum, which has longitudinally vertical cut-off plates. Getting into the zone of action of a powerful magnetic field, ferromagnetic particles are attracted to the surface of the drum shell and are held on it until the shell cutter, which moves such particles, passes through the magnetic sector. Further, the magnetic field disappears, and the ferromagnetic particles are separated from the shell under the action of their own weight. Thus, the cleaned material falls and the trapped ferromagnetic particles fall into the metal collector.

Laboratory magnetic separators of SMB-ST2-2 series are equipped with:
* adjustment of the speed of rotation of the drum by an inverter (frequency converter);
* supply of material by a vibrating feeder with adjustable feed rate.

Additional comments
The unique scientific developments of the enterprise, high design and technological level, cooperation with leading research organizations of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the use of the latest materials and technologies make it possible to compete with the world's leading manufacturers of similar products and equipment.

During the existence of the organization, it has managed to take one of the leading positions in the CIS countries and Eastern Europe in the production of permanent magnets, ferrites, as well as products based on them. During this time, the enterprise has manufactured and delivered to customers thousands of tons of permanent magnets, hundreds of models of magnetic separators for enterprises of specialized industries in Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova, and the countries of the Middle East region.

When designing magnetic systems, scientists and specialists of the enterprise use mathematical modeling, using the latest computer programs, both to calculate the requirements for the synthesis of permanent magnets and to analyze the required configuration of the magnetic field.
