Description
The technologies for DNA diagnostics of hereditary diseases of animals developed at the Institute are used in the Scientific and Practical Centre for Animal Husbandry of the NAS of Belarus and regional breeding enterprises of Belarus in the development of programs to improve the selection and breeding livestock.

DNA technologies make it possible to reduce the cost of livestock production by 15%, promote the intensification of breeding for the creation of highly productive animals by 15...20%, reduce the incidence and mortality of animals, increase the safety of young animals up to 11.5%.
