Summary
Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers a technological complex for processing aluminum waste in the frame of commercial agreement with technical assistance.
Description
Physical-Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus developed a technological process and equipment that allows continuous drying of aluminum chips and their separation from magnetic and weakly magnetic inclusions (Fe-13Ni-7Cu alloy) before melting.

Technology allows:
* increase yield of metal up to 92..95%;
* exclude the ignition of chips during remelting;
* intensify mechanical dispersion of chips when obtaining products using aluminum powder;
* additionally extract up to 50..60% aluminum.
Advantages and Innovations
At the "Minsk Motor Plant" the separation of magnetic and weakly magnetic inclusions of ferrous metals (magnetic separation) made it possible to use the entire volume of aluminum chips in furnace charge to replace expensive purchased fresh charge materials, as well as in the production of fire coatings and linings.
