Summary
The State Scientific and Production Association “Optics, Optoelectronics & Laser Technology” (SSPA) has developed an active-pulse laser range-gated imaging systems for heavy weather conditions for stationary use, cars, sea vessels, light aircraft. SSPA is looking for partners to create a joint venture, conclude manufacture or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
Description
SSPA "Optics, Optoelectronics & Laser Technology" has developed and manufacture active-pulse laser range-gated imaging systems for heavy weather conditions (APIS).
The principle of APIS operation is as follows. The object of observation is illuminated by short laser pulses, the duration of which ∆tlas is much shorter than the time of light propagation to the object and back. An image intensifier is usually installed in the receiving unit, which opens in time with the sending of light pulses with a certain delay ∆tset for a short time interval ∆tpr. In the case when the time delay between the moments of opening the shutter of the image intensifier and the beginning of the illumination pulse emission is equal to the time required for the light to travel the distance to the object and back, the observer sees only the object itself and the layer of space immediately surrounding it (the visibility zone of length ∆SZV = s (∆tlaz. + ∆tpr) / 2), where c is the speed of light). Observation of the image in most cases is carried out using a television channel made on the basis of a matrix of charge coupled devices (video camera), coordinated with the image intensifier.
*) In the absence of fog. In the presence of fog, the working distance is ~ 2,5Sm, where Sm is the meteorological visibility range.
Objects are illuminated by invisible radiation with a wavelength of 840 nm. To solve a specific problem, the development of appropriate optics and electronics is required.
One of the important from a practical point of view functions of AISV, which are absent in other types of vision systems, is the ability, in addition to simple observation of objects, to determine the distance to them. This is important for a number of specific applications related to the determination of object coordinates, target designation, security, etc. It is possible to build 3D images (3-dimensional picture).
APIS are mainly designed to increase the detection range and recognition of objects with reduced transparency of the atmosphere (fog, haze, snow, etc.).
SSPA is looking for:
- organizations interested in purchasing created and manufactured active-pulse laser range-gated imaging systems for heavy weather conditions (APIS 1, APIS 2 or APIS 3) within the framework of a manufacturing agreement;
- organizations interested in purchasing active-pulse laser range-gated imaging systems for heavy weather conditions, developed in accordance with the customer's requirements under a commercial agreement with technical assistance;
- industrial partners interested in creating a joint venture for the development and production of active-pulse laser range-gated imaging systems for heavy weather conditions under a joint venture agreement.
