Summary
The Polessian Institute of Plant Growing offers consumers a simple interlinear early ripe corn hybrid Polessian 101 CB FAO 180 under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Simple interline, early maturing hybrid. It is intended for cultivation on grain and a silage. For 2009-2011 years of testing, the average grain yield was 110 kg/ha. The maximum yield of 150 c/ha was obtained at the Shchuchinsky GSU in 2011. When grown for silage, the average dry matter yield over the years of testing was 208 c/ha. The maximum yield of 367 c/ha was obtained at the Oktyabrskaya SS State Agricultural Institution in 2011. Early flowering and the beginning of grain filling provide a high level of energy in the silage mass and guarantee ripening for grain in climatically unfavorable conditions. It is recommended for cultivation for silage throughout the country, for grain - in areas where the sum of effective temperatures is above 8500C. Highly flexible, capable ensure high fodder and grain productivity on poor sandy and sandy soils.
