Summary
Enterprise "Geoinformation systems" offers services for the creation of risk maps due to factors of natural and man-made genesis. The company is looking for partners interested in creating maps within the framework of an outsourcing agreement.
Description
Theoretical and methodological approaches to solving the problem of creating risk maps due to factors of natural and technogenic genesis. A fundamentally new approach to solving the problem of combating technogenically provoked diseases has been developed, solving problems of environmental monitoring and identifying objects of targeted prevention of the consequences of technogenic accidents has been simplified. A technology for constructing synthetic maps by means of specialized GIS has been developed. For Belarus, a medium-scale map of iodine deficiency has been built, and for the transboundary territories of Russia and Belarus, a map of the risk of thyroid cancer. The detail of the iodine deficiency map is 2 orders of magnitude higher than the previously achieved level. The results obtained will allow much more accurate control of changes in the ecological situation and to increase the effectiveness of preventive measures in case of its deterioration.
Advantages and Innovations
There are no analogs to the obtained risk maps at the moment in the world. The release of the developed methodology can significantly reduce time and labor costs on the creation of synthetic cartographic surfaces by carrying out overlay operations, which in turn will optimize the procedure for creating forecast and assessment maps using specialized GIS.

Comments regarding stage of development
The results obtained can be used to create specialized GIS technologies and thematic ecological and geochemical maps, which can be effectively used in the implementation of measures for the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, in the development and verification of state and regional programs, to improve the environmental situation and combat iodine deficiency.
