From September 24 to 26, 2024, the II Innovation Forum. Russia-Belarus was held in Minsk as part of the  Belarusian Industrial and Innovation Forum 2024.

Event organizers:

•       Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation;

•       National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Event operators: International Union of Instrument Makers and Specialists in Information and Telecommunication Technologies (IUIMT), National University of Science and Technology MISIS (NUST MISIS) and the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (RCTT).

The purpose of the event is to exchange experience in the field of technology transfer and innovation implementation, present successful models of cooperation between universities, research organizations and industrial partners of the two countries.

Representatives of more than 50 Russian and Belarusian organizations took part in the Forum.

On September 24, the Forum events were held at the site of the 27th International Exhibition of Technologies and Innovations in Industry "TechInnoProm 2024". September 25th at the of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The Forum was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of of the NAS of Belarus Academician Sergei Chizhik, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Dr. Andrei Soroko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Dr. Denis Korzhitsky, Deputy Head of Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia Dmitry Evdokukhin, the Head of the Main Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Vladimir Podkopaev, the Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy and others.

Director of the RCTT, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy spoke at the Forum with a report entitled “Services, information resources and Internet tools provided by the Republican Center for Technology Transfer to Belarusian and Russian organizations”.
