On November 24, 2021, at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, a section session of the Congress of Scientific Councils of the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS) dedicated to the problems of intellectual property protection and technology transfer was held.

The meeting was attended by Academician Piotr Vityaz (Belarus), member of the Council Academician Sergey Aldoshin (Russia), member of the Board, Director of the Center for Intellectual Property Research and Technology Transfer of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yury Kapitsa, General Director of the National Center for Intellectual Property Vladimir Ryabovolov (Belarus), Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer (RCTT) Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy (Belarus) and others. A discussion of the problems of intellectual property protection and technology transfer took place. Director of RCTT Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy made a presentation at the meeting on the topic "Policy and legislation in the field of technology transfer in Belarus: state, problems, prospects".
