On April 27-28, 2022, the National Library of Belarus hosted the forum “Intellectual Property in Belarus. NCIP - 30 years”, timed to coincide with the World Intellectual Property Day and the anniversary of the National Center for Intellectual Property (NCIP).

The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Shlychkov, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization Daren Tang (video message), Chairman of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China Shen Chanyu (video message), President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization Grigory Ivliev, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanets, Member of the Board (Minister) for Economics and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission Ruslan Beketaev (video message), Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee Mikhail Myskin (video message), Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation Yuri Zubov, General Director of the National Center for Intellectual Property Vladimir Ryabovolov.

The program of the first day of the forum included a regional seminar "The Role of Intellectual Property in Innovative Development". Representatives of state bodies and organizations, scientists, domestic and foreign experts in the field of intellectual property discussed a number of topical issues related to the development, improvement, transformation of this area in modern realities at the national, regional and international levels. Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer Dr Alexander Uspenskiy made a presentation at the seminar “Commercialization of the R&D results at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus: state, problems, solutions”.

On April 28, a regional seminar "Modern trends in the development of legal protection systems for industrial designs in the Eurasian region" was held.
