Experimental and production enterprise "Ferrit" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures Magnetic scale reducer MAG-1, designed to reduce water hardness and protect equipment from lime deposits.

The device is installed on the hose to washing machine or dishwasher ca. 5..10 cm after the water supply tap. The device can be installed in any orientation.

When installing the magnets should be placed opposite each other. The device is fixed to the hose with a strap, which goes around the notches on the magnets.

Principle of operation:
The magnetic scale reducer MAG-1 consists of two permanent magnets and is attached to the water supply using a polypropylene clamp. Permanent magnets create strong magnetic fields that change the structure of water. It acquires a softer crystal lattice and, as a result, the process of scale formation on thermal heating elements is blocked.
