Summary
The Institute of History offers clients services for theoretical and applied research in the field of the history of geopolitics and geopolitical processes under an outsourcing agreement.
Description
As a problematic field of research, the services are aimed at studying geopolitical thought in Belarus, the role and place of Belarus in geopolitical processes in Eastern and Northern Europe, as well as the system of international organizations.

As part of the implementation of services, the following is carried out:
• accumulation, classification and analysis of information about the main historical, socio-political, socio-demographic, economic, military, spiritual, cultural, and other events, processes and phenomena that had a significant impact on interstate interaction and international relations of Belarus in the 20th - early 21st centuries;
• identification and analysis of the most important geopolitical trends in the development of modern world processes from the point of view of the national interests of the Republic of Belarus, as well as events and phenomena in states and supranational associations that are of direct interest to ensure the stable development and security of our country;
• monitoring of geopolitical processes in the geopolitical space relevant to Belarus and forecasting their potential changes and impact on the development of the political, economic, socio-cultural and other situation in the region, as well as possible threats and challenges to the stable development of all spheres of life of the Belarusian state and society;
• identifying and studying the most important trends in the development of the regional and world economy, as well as the achievements of key economic entities with the subsequent popularization of their activities in the republican and world information space;
• development of equal and mutually beneficial full interaction and cooperation with foreign partner organizations.

The Institute of History has branches of the Department of Archeology and Special Historical Disciplines (Faculty of History of BSU) and the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science (Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of BSU). Research projects are carried out jointly with colleagues from universities. Employees of the institute teach at the leading universities of the country, are the leaders of graduation projects, master's and candidate's theses.
