Centre for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature offers consumers scientific collection "Issues of Art History, Ethnology and Folklore" under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

The collection contains scientific articles that present new research results that are relevant for solving modern problems of national culture. These are materials from employees and postgraduate students of the Center for Research on Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, higher educational institutions of Belarus and other countries.

The collection is published within the framework of the State Comprehensive Program of Scientific Research for 2021–2025. “Society and Humanitarian Security of the Belarusian State” (subprogram “Culture and Art”). Some of the articles are presented within the framework of the Program of Scientific Cooperation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.

The Center for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus carries out scientific research in the fields of art history, ethnography, ethnology, folkloristics, language and literature.

Activities:
► Study of ethnocultural processes on the territory of Belarus; interethnic connections of Belarusians, Russians, Ukrainians and other peoples in the field of material and spiritual culture.
► Development of problems in the history and theory of Belarusian art, anthropology of culture.
► Study of the Belarusian language system at various stages of its development.
► Conducting sociolinguistic, comparative and comparative typological studies.
► Preparation of dictionaries of the Belarusian language, including translated Belarusian-non-Slavic and non-Slavic-Belarusian.
► Identification and analysis of the main trends and patterns of the historical and modern literary process.
► Study of problems of the history of literature and literary connections in the Slavic world and beyond.
► Research of the literary heritage of Belarus, including the preparation of academic editions of collected works of classics of Belarusian literature, literary monuments.

The center also carries out the following activities.

Conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in the fields of art history, ethnology, folklore, language and literature.

►Scientific publications
● Preparation of scientific and popular science publications in the field of fine, decorative and applied arts, architecture, theatrical, musical, film and television arts, folklore, ethnology, history of the Belarusian language, dialectology and linguogeography, lexicology and lexicography, modern Belarusian language, Slavic and theory of language, Belarusian-Russian linguistic and literary connections, Belarusian literature of the 20th and 20th centuries, textual criticism and publications of literary monuments, interrelations of literatures, theory and history of Belarusian literature.
● Development of dictionaries and reference books of various types, preparation of teaching aids, collected works of classics of Belarusian literature.

►Scientific expertise
Conducting scientific examinations of the most important scientific and national economic programs, innovative projects, as well as draft regulatory legal acts in the Center’s profile.

►Practical recommendations
Development of recommendations for using the results of the Center's scientific research in practice.

►Personnel training
Training of highly qualified scientific personnel through postgraduate, doctoral and competitive studies.

►Excursion services
Providing excursion services and promoting national artistic culture in the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture.

The Center is a state legal entity, administered by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and is part of the Department of Humanities and Arts.
