Summary
Institute of Genetics and Cytology offers consumers seeds of hybrid oil sunflower to provide the food industry with a product of plant origin, the processing industry with raw materials for the production of products for feeding all types of animals under a manufacturing agreement, services for the performance of a set of agricultural works on seed propagation under an outsourcing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Using DNA technology for certification of varieties and selection of material, the following F1 hybrids of oil sunflower were created: Poisk, Krok, Belorussky ranniy, Azimut, Agat. The above hybrids were created on the basis of CMS.

Scope - agriculture, crop production.

Recommended for countries with agricultural background and soil and climatic conditions similar to those of Belarus.

The hybrids were created by traditional selection using marker-assisted selection technology.

More information about varieties can also be found in the Catalogue of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus "Applied Developments"), p. 25.

Information is posted in Album of promising developments of the NAS of Belarus organizations for the real sector of the economy (2023), p. 272-273. (in Russian)
Advantages and Innovations
No genetic modification technologies (non-GMO) were used in the creation of the hybrids.

Sunflower hybrid F1 Poisk. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, the average plant height is 135-150 cm. The seed yield over three years of competitive testing in Belarus was 34.8-48.8 c/ha, the oil content of the seeds was 48.4-50.4%. The weight of 1,000 seeds is 59.3-63.9 g. In 2008, the hybrid F1 Poisk was zoned for the Brest, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions of Belarus. It is the standard of the early-ripening group in the State Variety Testing.

Sunflower hybrid F1 Agat. A highly productive, high-oil hybrid.
The vegetation period is 110–115 days, the average plant height is 125–135 cm. The average seed yield over three years of competitive testing in Belarus was 43.8 c/ha, the seed oil content was 48–52.7%. The weight of 1000 seeds is 55.0–58.0 g.

Sunflower hybrid F1 Belarusian early. High uniformity in plant height, flowering and ripening. The hybrid is characterized by its early maturity. The vegetation period is 95–100 days, the average plant height is 120–125 cm. The seed yield over three years of competitive testing in Belarus was 34.8–50.0 c/ha, with seed oil content of 44.0–49.7%, and the weight of 1,000 seeds was 46.0–64.7 g. In 2014, it was zoned for the Brest, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions of Belarus. It is a standard of the ultra-early group in the State Variety Testing.

Sunflower hybrid F1 Krok. High uniformity in plant height, flowering and ripening. The hybrid is characterized by its early maturity. The vegetation period is 98–105 days, the average plant height is 120–125 cm. The seed yield over three years of competitive testing in Belarus was 38.7–53.3 c/ha, with seed oil content of 47.0–50.4%, and the weight of 1000 seeds was 59.7–70.9 g. In 2020, it was zoned for the Brest, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions of Belarus.

The hybrids were created using DNA technologies, which corresponds to the VI technological structure.
