State scientific and production association «Chemical Synthesis and Biotechnology» of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures biopesticide «BACTAVEN-C», designed to protection of tomato and cucumber from root and basal rots.

The based of the preparation consists of spores and metabolic products of bacteria Bacillus subtilis (titer - not less than 1.0x10⁸ CFU/g).

The phytoprotective effect of biological agent is due to the antifungal activity of the spore-forming bacteria Bacillus subtilis.

The biopesticide is not phytotoxic, harmless to warm-blooded animals, fish, bees, and has no waiting time after application.

Biological efficiency of the preparation after 4 applications at a dosage 5 kg/ha during vegetation season against cucumber diseases is 61.1..67.7%. The use of this preparation enables to yield extra 1.4..2.4 kg/m² of harvest.

Biological control efficacy after 5 applications of the preparation at a dosage 6.5 kg/ha during the tomato vegetation season was 62.9..65.8%. The use of this preparation allows to yield additionally 1.8..2.4 kg/m² of harvest.

Application guidelines to protection for cucumber (grown on soil protected with mineral wool) against root rot:

Application guidelines to protection for tomato (grown on soil protected with mineral wool) against root and basal rots:

* preparative form - powder;
* bags for vacuum packaging of 0,05 kg; 0,1 kg; 0,25 kg; 0,5 kg and 1,0 kg;
* four-layer paper bags of 0,5 kg, 1,0 kg and 25 kg.

Terms of storage:
12 months since fabrication at temperatures from +1 to +25°C in shady place under roof.
