Brest Regional Agricultural Experimental Station of the NAS of Belarus offers consumers and producers of agricultural products services for scientific support of Seed farming in the region under an outsourcing agreement and/or seeds under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

Services are provided by specialists from the Seed Production Department.

The department's main activities include:

- production and sale of original and premium seed material for domestic varieties of grain, cereal, and leguminous crops, as well as soybeans;
- conducting scientific research to develop cultivation techniques for grain, cereal, and leguminous crops applicable to the soil and climatic conditions of southwestern Belarus;
- seed production in the Seed Production Department covers 10 crops and 35 varieties. Annually, 300-400 tons of original (P1, P2, P1) and premium (P2, super-elite) seed material for grain and leguminous crops is produced.

The leading varieties of P-2 and super-elite, which are in greatest demand on both domestic and foreign markets, play a leading role in overall production.

Currently, the "Brest OSKHOS NAS of Belarus" is conducting breeding work to develop domestic and promising varieties of agricultural plants most in demand in the southern regions of the Republic of Belarus. Particular attention is being paid to addressing the problem of plant protein deficiency and improving soil fertility by planting legumes, which also act as nitrogen fixers. To this end, the planting of the most in-demand agricultural crops is expanded annually to meet the needs of regional businesses for high-quality seeds.

The innovative activities of the RUE "Brest OSKHOS NAS of Belarus" include original seed production of new agricultural crop varieties and the production of fruit and berry planting material, in quantities that support planned variety renewal and variety rotation in the Brest Region, thereby directly influencing the development of variety policy in the region. The RUE "Brest OSKHOS NAS of Belarus" is the only producer of original seed material for major agricultural crops in the Brest Region.
