Summary
The enterprise "Geoinformation systems" offers services for the use of the results of remote sensing of the Earth, obtained with the help of the Belarusian space system. The company is looking for consumers of services under an outsourcing or subcontracting agreement.
Description
Orbital and ground segments have been created as part of the Belarusian Space Earth Remote Sensing System (BKSDZZ). The orbital segment uses a high-resolution Belarusian spacecraft (BSC) and foreign low- and medium-resolution satellites.

The active life of the spacecraft is not less than 5 years, the orbit is circular sun-synchronous with an altitude of 510 ± 10 km, orbital multiplicity of 16 days, a swath of 20 km, and a mass of 474 kg. The panchromatic imaging system of the target equipment has one spectral channel and a resolution of 2.1 m, the multispectral one - four spectral channels with a resolution of 10.5 m each.

The ground segment, which includes the Flight Control Center and the Command and Measurement Center, contains hardware and software for receiving applications, planning the target operation of the spacecraft, receiving, processing, storing and distributing remote sensing data.

A Russian-Belarusian orbital constellation of spacecraft was created as part of the spacecraft and the Russian vehicle "Kanopus-V" No. 1. The Federal Space Agency of the Russian Federation and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus made a joint decision to control the orbital group during the operation phase.

The enterprise implemented measures in accordance with the Action Plan for the commercialization of the BKSDZ approved by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on January 31, 2013, within the framework of which agreements were concluded with organizations of ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus for the provision of the right to use remote sensing data. In accordance with the "Instruction on the procedure for planning space surveys, receiving, processing, disseminating and using space information", approved by the Resolution of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus No. 6 dated July 31, 2006, the fee for conducting space imagery, receiving and primary processing of information carried out in order to implement applications from Belarusian users associated with the execution of a state order is not charged.
Advantages and Innovations
The creation of the BKSDZ is the first national system-level project in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. Its strategic goal is the development and implementation into the daily practice of Belarus of modern methods and means of state administration and economic activity, based on the wide use of remote sensing data and geoinformation technologies.
