Scientific and Practical Centre for Potato, Fruit and Vegetable Growing offers consumers services for developing recommendations on the use of the industry regulations "Cultivation of potatoes: seed, food, technical" (2025) under an outsourcing agreement and looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.

The industry regulation "Cultivation of potatoes: seed, food, technical" (2025) establishes requirements for the implementation of technological operations for cultivating potatoes:
- to obtain seed potatoes with an estimated yield of 25-30 t/ha and the yield of the required fraction of at least 70%;
- food - with a planned yield of 35-40 t/ha;
- technical - with a yield of 40-45 t/ha;

The regulation is intended for managers and specialists of farms, specialized enterprises for the production of initial, original seed material, elite and reproductive seed potatoes, as well as farms engaged in on-farm seed production, potato processing enterprises, researchers, teachers and students of agricultural educational institutions, amateur potato growers.

The industry regulations were reviewed and approved at a meeting of the plant growing section of the scientific and technical council of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus on the issues of scientific support for the agro-industrial complex on June 2, 2025.

The Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Potato, Fruit and Vegetable Growing" is a dynamically developing state scientific selection and seed-growing enterprise and is the leading organization in the Republic of Belarus in the field of potato and fruit and vegetable growing.

The scientific work of the Center is comprehensive. The co-executors of the topic are the Institute of Plant Protection, the Grodno Zonal Institute of Plant Growing, regional agricultural experimental stations, the Institute of Genetics and Cytology, the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Food, the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy and a number of other institutions, which allows us to deepen the theoretical focus of the research, the depth of elaboration of the experimental material, the reliability of conclusions and recommendations for the conditions of various regions of the Republic of Belarus. International cooperation covers many countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Germany, China, etc.

Main areas of scientific activity:
1. Creation of fundamentally new varieties and hybrids of potatoes with a yield of 50.0-80.0 t/ha, fruit crops - 25.0-30.0 t/ha, berry crops - 10.0-12.0 t/ha and vegetable crops - 40.0–100.0 t/ha.
2. Development of targeted environmentally friendly resource-saving technologies for the production of potatoes, fruit and vegetable crops.
3. Ensuring variety change and variety renewal through accelerated production of original seed and planting material.
4. Scientific support for the potato and fruit and vegetable growing industries to improve their economic efficiency, competitiveness and fully meet the needs of the Republic of Belarus in high-quality potato, fruit and vegetable products.
