Summary
The Institute of Energetics offers consumers a Smart Charging Station for charging electric vehicles under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Smart charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) are devices that not only provide charging but also manage the charging process, monitor battery status, and integrate with smart home systems and power grids. These stations are in demand in both the private and commercial sectors. There are numerous manufacturers specializing in the development of smart charging stations on the global market.

Major global manufacturers of smart charging stations:

1. Tesla, Inc. (USA)
- Features: Tesla offers charging stations, such as the Tesla Wall Connector, that integrate with Tesla electric vehicles. They provide high-speed charging and support intelligent control.
2. ABB (Switzerland)
- Features: ABB manufactures smart charging stations for private and commercial use. Their equipment supports remote control and integration with power grids.
3. Siemens (Germany)
- Features: Siemens offers charging stations that support intelligent control, monitoring, and integration with smart home systems.
4. Schneider Electric (France)
- Features: Schneider Electric produces EVlink charging stations suitable for both residential and commercial installations. They support intelligent features and grid integration.
5. Delta Electronics (Taiwan)
- Features: Delta Electronics produces charging stations with intelligent features, including monitoring, app control, and grid integration.

The equipment is widely used in both the private and commercial sectors.

The intelligent charging station, developed at the Institute of Energetics, is designed for intelligent charging of electric vehicles. It is applicable to transportation in any sector of economic activity.

This prototype intelligent electric vehicle charging system is based on smart grid technology. This technology enables two-way interaction between the charging network and the grid. The charging network acts as a controlled load, capable of smoothing out daily peaks and dips in the grid's demand. This allows for balancing of the power grid section in the interests of the power system operator, thereby conserving generating capacity and reducing the cost of electricity generation and transmission. The user interacts with the charging station via an industrial tablet. Electric vehicle charging parameters are displayed on the monitor in real time.

The information is published in the "Catalog of the Latest Practice-Oriented Developments of Organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Republic of Belarus," 2025, p. 171, and the Catalog of "Advanced Developments of the NAS of Belarus," 2024, pp. 106-107. Advantages and Innovations
Technical and economic advantages: This technology will smooth out peak electricity consumption, reducing grid costs. Distinguishing features and innovative aspects: It will smooth out peak electricity consumption and also enable the return of electricity from the electric vehicle to the grid when needed.

This development is ahead of the current level of charging network technology in the Republic of Belarus, is unique in the country, and is in line with global standards.
The technical aspects of the development are comparable to the most advanced foreign charging station models (V2G technology), and the intelligent component is unique.
