Scientific and Practical Centre for Potato, Fruit and Vegetable Growing offers consumers technology for obtaining original seed potatoes in protected soil conditions under a commercial agreement with technical assistance and/or a non-exclusive license agreement to grant the right to use the technology under patents and is looking for partners to conclude a technical cooperation agreement.

The technological regulations establish the general procedure for maintaining original seed potatoes, and also ensure the creation of conditions for obtaining an optimal level of yield, quantitative output of the standard fraction of seed tubers in accordance with current requirements.

Seed potatoes are produced annually in the required quantity for the needs of the republic.

The subjects of production of original and elite seeds are legal entities and individuals, including individual entrepreneurs included in the State Register of Agricultural Seed Producers.

The technological regulations for obtaining original seed potatoes in protected soil conditions surpass the technology for producing the first tuber generation in protected soil, developed in 2005.

Income from the sale of seed potatoes of the first tuber generation with a yield of 150 tubers/m², an average price of 1 ruble/piece reaches 150 rubles/m², profit - 45 rubles/m², production profitability - up to 43%.

The technological regulations take into account all the necessary requirements for the safety and health of people and the environment when working with potato seed material in accordance with current standards and rules.

1. Creation of fundamentally new varieties and hybrids of potatoes with a yield of 50.0-80.0 t/ha, fruit crops - 25.0-30.0 t/ha, berry crops - 10.0-12.0 t/ha and vegetable crops - 40.0–100.0 t/ha.
2. Development of targeted environmentally friendly resource-saving technologies for the production of potatoes, fruit and vegetable crops.
3. Ensuring variety change and variety renewal through accelerated production of original seed and planting material.
4. Scientific support for the potato and fruit and vegetable growing industries to improve their economic efficiency, competitiveness and fully meet the needs of the Republic of Belarus in high-quality potato, fruit and vegetable products.
