Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers polarization microscopes with laser illumination system under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures polarization microscopes with laser illumination system designed to study submicron objects and polarization effects.

Optical layout of laser polarization microscope with submicron resolution:
1
1 - laser module; 2 - collecting lens; 3 - rotating microlens raster; 4 - condenser; 5 - polarizer; 6 - broadband mirror, R ≈ 50%; 7 - rotary plate; 8 - objective lens; 9 - sample; 10 - broadband mirror, R ≈ 100%; 11 - analyzer; 12 - digital camera without objective lens.

Microbiology:
Dried erythrocytes of human blood under changing oblique illumination (in reflected light).

Objective lens 60x/0.85
Wavelength, nm λ1 = 532, λ2 = 632.8

Sub-wavelength structures:
Microphotoes of structures with a period less than the wavelengths of laser illumination sources. Objective lens 90x/1.35,
distilled water as an immersion liquid.
3

Microelectronics:
Structures on the gold film.
4-1

Objective lenses 10x/0.3 (а, b, d, e) и 60x/0.85 (c, f)
Wavelengths, nm λ1 = 532, λ2 = 632.8
Scale, µm 10

The components of the chip are rectangular metal structures.

Advantages and Innovations
Import substitution of polarizing microscopes of companies:
«Ningbo Sunny Instruments Co.,Ltd.» (China);
«Opto-Edu (Beijing) Co., Ltd.» (China);
JSC «LOMO» (Russian Federation);
«Meiji Techno Co., Ltd.» (Japan).

A polarization microscope with laser illumination system has an advantage over a lamp-lit system (the efficiency of a laser lighting unit with a total power of 20 mW is equivalent to a lamp system with a power of > 100 W).
