Description
This is a perennial deciduous shrub of the Rosaceae family (rose-flowered), genus Chaenomeles, originally from Japan.

Origin: from free pollination of a selected form of Japanese henomeles.

A mid-season variety, winter-hardy, characterized by annual fruiting and stable yield (8 kg / bush or 27 t / ha), relatively resistant to fungal diseases. Begins to bear fruit in the 3rd year after planting in the garden.

The bush is low-growing, semi-spreading, with a weak degree of thorniness. The shoots are curved, medium thickness.

The leaf is obovate, green, shiny, without pubescence.

The flowers are large, bright orange.

The fruits are apple-shaped (average weight - 45 g), slightly bumpy, yellow, aromatic. The taste is sour. Tasting assessment of processed products – 4.3-4.9 points.

The Institute of Fruit Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is the first and currently the leading specialized organization in the field of fruit growing in the Republic of Belarus
