Summary
The Institute of Genetics and Cytology offers consumers the variety Soya GLYCINE MAX (L.) MERR. PUSHCHANSKAYA to provide the food industry with a high-protein product of plant origin, the processing industry with raw materials for the production of soy feed products for feeding all types of farm animals under a manufacturing and/or licensing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Using DNA technology for certification of varieties and selection of material, the Pushchanskaya soybean variety was created, adapted to the conditions of the central and southern zones of Belarus. It is characterized by adaptability to light soils of the Belarusian Polesie, drought resistance, and high protein content in grain.

Scope - agriculture, crop production.

Recommended for countries with agricultural background and soil and climatic conditions similar to the soil and climatic conditions of the central and southern zones of Belarus.

Advantages and Innovations
Created by traditional selection using marker-assisted selection technology. No genetic modification technologies were used in the creation of the variety (not a GM variety).

The variety is mid-early. The vegetation period is on average 117 days.

Yield - 23.7-43.2 c/ha. Weight of 1000 grains - 120-140 g. Oil content - 19.31%, oil yield - 4.2 c/ha. Protein content in grain - 38.88%. Protein yield - 5.9 c/ha. The oil contains 23.20% oleic acid, 53.90% linoleic, 7.90% linolenic, 9.93% palmitic, 4.07% stearic. Drought-resistant.

The variety was created using DNA technologies, which corresponds to the VI technological order.
