Summary
Center of LED and Optoelectronic Technologies offers consumers services for the development of artificial plant lighting systems under an outsourcing agreement, providing these systems with LED phyto-irradiators under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
The state enterprise “Center of LED and Optoelectronic Technologies NAS of Belarus” carries out scientific and applied activities in the field of creating energy-efficient phytoirradiation installations for protected soil cultivation structures based on LED phyto-irradiators.

The use of artificial technological irradiation in modern agriculture is an absolutely necessary condition for its functioning and ensures the production of products at high productivity and quality. Technological irradiation in modern agriculture is based on fundamental photobiological effects and specific agrotechnical and light technologies, involving the use of highly efficient lighting equipment.

Traditionally, the source of optical radiation in protected-ground vegetable growing greenhouses is high-pressure sodium lamps (HPS). Despite the fact that the NLVD spectrum is considered not entirely favorable for the growth and development of plants, it is thanks to these lamps in combination with advanced agricultural technology managed to achieve high levels of plant productivity. This is due to the fact that in industrial greenhouses Irradiation installations with low-pressure heat pumps are widely used in combination with natural lighting. Therefore even in the darkest time of the year (December), when the share of artificial lighting reaches 90%, the total the emission spectrum has a significant addition from natural light in the blue part of the phased array, providing necessary photoregulatory effect on plants.

Advantages and Innovations
Technical solutions for the creation of artificial lighting in greenhouses based on LED light sources are currently innovative, replacing the traditional electric lighting system based on low-pressure luminaires, which provides a number of advantages:

- higher efficiency when converting the energy of electric current into the energy of optical radiation from irradiation devices;
- higher luminous flux utilization factor (light distribution efficiency);
- irradiation devices with LEDs do not “burn” plants, they are predominantly linear light sources (NLLD - point light sources), which makes it possible to localize the radiation flux (photon flux) directly on the plant phytocenosis, irradiating technological passages to a lesser extent;
- the possibility of flexible control of the radiation flow (photon flow) of irradiation devices, which allows optimizing the dose of photosynthetic irradiation of the phytocenosis under conditions of combined natural and artificial lighting of plants;
- the possibility of creating special emission spectra of irradiation devices, adapted to the type and variety of plants, optimized for the production of specific metabolites in plants;
- stability of the radiation flux (photon flux) of irradiation devices during operation;
- long service life;
- environmental friendliness;
- absence of special requirements for the disposal of used irradiation devices and reduced environmental load.
