On October 7, 2025, the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Intellectual Property in the Modern World: Challenges and Development Prospects" was held in Minsk.
Conference organizers: the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the National center of Intellectual Property.
The purpose of the conference is to conduct a scientific and practical study of the status, problems, and development trends of intellectual property issues in the fields of law, economics, public administration, scientific and technical information systems, social and other spheres of activity in the Republic of Belarus and abroad, as well as prospects for the development of intellectual property in the modern world.

The conference was attended by Igor Petrishenko, First Deputy Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Independent States; Yernar Bakenov, Director of the Department for Entrepreneurship Development of the Eurasian Economic Commission; Denis Korzhitsky, PhD in Economics, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus; Vladislav Reznik, President of the International Association "Anti-Counterfeit" and Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; Vladimir Ryabovolov, PhD in Law, Vice President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the Eurasian Patent Organization, and others.
Dr. Alexander Uspensky, Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer, presented a report at Section 2 entitled "Intellectual Property Management at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus."
