On December 9, 2025, the China-Belarus Conference on Intelligent Sensing opened at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Conference organizers:

• Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province;
• National Academy of Sciences of Belarus;
• Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences.

At the opening of the conference, an agreement on comprehensive scientific and technical cooperation was signed between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences. The agreement was signed by Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Wu Yantao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Qilu University of Technology.

In addition, the opening ceremony of the following joint structures was held:

• The China-Belarus Joint Laboratory "Intelligent Sensing in Extreme Conditions" within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative; 
• The Cooperation Network Node of the China-SCO Center for Scientific, Technological and Innovation Cooperation (based at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus)

and, a signing ceremony for the following Agreements:

• Agreement on the Establishment of an International Center for Joint Research and Development between the Institute of Engineering Acoustics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Institute of New Materials of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences; 
• Agreement on Cooperation in the Establishment of a Joint Laboratory of Advanced Laser and Quantum Optical Technologies between the B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Institute of Laser Technologies of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences;
• Agreement on the Joint Establishment of an International Laboratory between the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Institute of New Materials of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences;
• Agreement on a scientific and technical project between the B.I. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Institute of Laser Technologies of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences;
• Trilateral cooperation agreement on the creation of a Belarusian-Chinese online platform for technology transfer and commercialization. The agreement was signed by Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, Head of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer (RCTT), Liu Xuehui, Head of the Qingdao Center for Marine Science and Technology, and Zhao Zhongyuan, Head of Aston Engineering Technology Transfer Co., Ltd. (Qingdao). The agreement aims to create a mirror site of the RCTT website (https://www.ictt.by) on a domain name in China to facilitate technology transfer and commercialization by facilitating access for Chinese organizations to Belarusian cooperation proposals and vice versa.
