On April 6, 2026, a delegation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Wuhan, Hubei Province, China), led by Professor Zhu Xiao of the National Engineerimg Center for Laser Processing, visited the NAS of Belarus.

The delegation met with Alexander Uspenskiy, Director of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (RCTT), who introduced the delegation to the services and information resources RCTT provides to its international partners, the Virtual Exhibition of the NAS of Belarus, and the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus "Research. Development. Production".

The delegation met with Vitali Zaleski, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus; Igor Smyaglikov, Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Physics and Technology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; and Tatsiana Prannik, Head of the Main Department for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the NAS of Belarus. They discussed promising areas and mechanisms for cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the the National Engineerimg Center for Laser Processing Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
