From June 27 to July 1, 2026, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, Director of the Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (RCTT), was on a working visit in Qingdao (PRC) at the invitation of the China-SCO Center for Scientific, Technological and Innovative Cooperation (until September 5, 2025 - the China-SCO Technology Transfer Center) and the organizing committee of the 5th SCO Member States Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

During his visit, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy attended the opening ceremony and jury work for the 5th SCO Member States Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the China-SCO Sci-Tech Innovation Cooperation Conference. At a seminar on international cooperation in education in the SCO countries, he gave a presentation on "Services, information resources, and internet tools provided by the Republican  Centre for Technology Transfer to innovation entities in the SCO countries". In the framework of the the presentation he offered to help the winners of the 5th SCO Member States Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition formulate proposals for cooperation aimed at finding partners for the implementation of their projects and posting proposals for cooperation on the RCTT Internet portal https://www.ictt.by. He discussed cooperation in technology transfer and commercialization with Zhao Zhongyuan, Director of the China-SCO Center for Scientific, Technological, and Innovative Cooperation; Liu Xiaoyan, Director of the International Center for Technology Transfer and Innovative Cooperation of Shaanxi Province; Professor Jiang Xuesong, Head of the Software Engineering Department of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology at Qilu University of Technology; and others.

The events were attended by more than 90 guests from foreign countries, including Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Cambodia.
