The new Chinese AI platform version Kimi K3 has been released
The Republican Centre for Technology Transfer (RCTT) announces the release on July 16, 2026, of a new version of the Chinese Kimi K3 AI platform, developed by Moonshot AI and positioned as a high-performance, long-context assistant for solving complex applied problems in business, science, and education. Kimi K3 is based on the GLM 5.2 architecture and belongs to the class of large language models focused on multilingual support, extended context for hundreds of thousands of tokens, and integration into digital services via APIs.
Kimi K3 demonstrates improved characteristics compared with previous versions of the Kimi family and several international counterparts due to optimized long‑document processing, enhanced robustness in dialog mode and advanced developer tools. The platform is presented as a core component for intelligent assistants, search and analytics systems, as well as decision‑support services working with large volumes of textual information.
Taking into account RCTT’s needs in intelligent processing of technology transfer requests, analysis of patent and scientific‑technical information and support of international partnership projects, Kimi K3 can be used in pilot projects aimed at creating specialized AI advisory systems for technology brokers, automating the preparation of reviews and technology profiles and supporting multilingual communication with foreign partners. In this respect, the release of Kimi K3 opens up additional opportunities for RCTT to experimentally and practically use this platform in the Centre’s activities, including the development and testing of AI assistants for technology transfer tasks.
