Continuing the ScienceOne series produced by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA), this lecture will feature Prof. CHEN Yingying, who will introduce AI agent architecture (perception, planning, execution), multi-agent collaboration, protocols, and evolution from conversational tools to autonomous actors. It discusses trends like self-evolution and swarm intelligence, and aims to equip researchers with theories for building cognitive, actionable agents. It will also address AI4S's "Fifth Paradigm" and human-AI synergy in reshaping discovery.
