Alchemy is the annual innovation challenge run by Asian Paints, India’s leading paints and coatings company and among the top 10 globally. Over its first three editions it has drawn more than 20,000 registrations from over 70 countries, with participation from 5,000+ institutes and 400+ PhD scholars. Entrants, alone or in a team of two, submit a 3 to 5 slide summary, and B.Tech and B.E. students can also submit a one-page poster.

Shortlisted teams refine their work into a 10-slide case summary with mentoring from Asian Paints R&D scientists, and finalists present to a jury at an on-ground Conclave.
