Description
The Institute of Microbiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures microbial preparation «BioSEf», designed for detoxification of aqueous media polluted with typical ester and alcohol solvents.
The based of preparation is superactive strains of microorganisms with high destructive potential in relation to solvents based on esters (butylcellosol, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate) and alcohols (ethanol, butanol, propanol).
Titer – not less than 1.0×1010 CFU/ml.
Efficiency
The introduction of biotechnology for the purification of aqueous solutions from solvents using of microbial preparation «BioSEf» will:
* ensure the purification of aqueous solutions from a mixture of solvents by 85..100 %;
* save biological treatment costs by minimizing the amount of spent materials and reagents;
* reduce the occupational health risks for personnel employed at high-hazard operations;
* decrease the impact of industrial enterprises on humans and the environment.
The preparation is referred to the 4th hazard class as low-danger substance.
Package:
Plastic containers of 1..20 l volume.
Terms of storage:
6 months since fabrication date within temperature range +4 to +8 °C in shady place.
Application area: industrial enterprises of various profiles.
