Summary
The Institute of Nature Management offers consumers an Atlas of Peat Deposits of the Republic of Belarus in the form of digital maps of peat deposits in the Brest, Mogilev, and Gomel regions. This is available under a manufacturing agreement, as well as services to develop recommendations for the most efficient use of remaining peat deposit reserves and areas under an outsourcing agreement and/or subcontracting.
Description
The Atlas of Peat Deposits of the Republic of Belarus is an important scientific and practical publication reflecting the status and characteristics of the country's peat resources. Key aspects of its importance and primary applications are as follows:

- The Atlas allows for the systematization of data on the location, area, depth, and quality of peat deposits.
- This is important for assessing peat reserves as a strategic resource.

- The Atlas helps monitor changes in peatland condition and prevent their degradation.

The Institute of Nature Management is one of the oldest institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, conducting research in the field of Earth sciences. The Institute's activities are aimed at addressing issues of rational nature management and environmental protection in collaboration with international organizations.
The Institute conducts research in the following areas:
